The National Weather Service in Riverton released an update just after 2:00 pm today, August 10th, that all of Fremont County (and many surrounding areas) is now under a Red Flag Warning through Tuesday.
Being placed in a Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions are impacting your area. A combination of gusty winds, low humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior, according to NWS.

As a reminder, multiple fire bans were put into effect last month until further notice including: Fremont County, Lander Region Game and Fish Commission-owned, administered lands, Wind River Reservation, and public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management.
