Record high and a tie set in the 10 Monday

(Fremont County, WY) – It was an unseasonably warm Monday…err…winter, however, that pattern is not supposed to be lasting much longer, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.

Several record highs were set in central and western Wyoming today. Fremont County was not exempt from today’s heatwave as our normal high temps for this time of year are below 45˚.

Lander tied their record – it was 64˚ this year and in 1936.

64˚ was also recorded today at the Riverton Airport. The previous record was 58˚ set in 2007.
