    Recent Deaths in Fremont County: Weed, Rummel, Moss, Forbis

    Wilma Weed, 64, of the Wind River Indian Reservation died in Riverton on July 5, 2019. A Wake will be held Monday, July 8, 2019, in the Blue Sky Hall, Ethete, with all night wake to follow at the family home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in the Rocky Mountain Hall, Fort Washakie. Burial will follow in the Chief Yellow Calf Cemetery, Ethete.

    Christopher Robert Rummel, 48, of Lander, died in Riverton on July 4, 2019. Visitation has been arranged for 5 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson’s Funeral Home, Lander, Wyoming. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 11, 2019, in the First Baptist Church, 339 Sweetwater, Lander, Wyoming. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

    Alice Mary Moss, 77, of Arapahoe passed away at her home on Thursday, July 4, 2019. A viewing and wake will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Great Plains Hall starting at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Great Plains Hall with Father Jim Heiser officiating.

    Mary Lou Forbis, 85, of Riverton passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. Mary Lou was born on August 21, 1933, in Gravity, Iowa, to Cash Evans Forbis and Mildred Margret (Bailey). She attended 1st-8th grade in a country school outside of Gravity. Mary left her family home and moved to Wyoming in 1952 to live with her grandparents, Roy and Mable Bailey, where she graduated from RHS in 1953.
