(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Management and Training Corporation, operators of the Wind River Job Corps Center for the U.S. Department of Labor, has honored two local residents for excellence.

Scotty Ratliff was named the Community Supporter of the Year by MTC and his honor was presented Thursday at the WRJC. Center Director Jim Whitmire said Ratliff was being honored for sharing his knowledge and for his ongoing support of the center. Ratliff is the President of the center’s Community Relations Council. Additionally, Ratliff is the local liaison for Sen. Mike Enzi and serves on the Wyoming State Board of Education.

Also honored Thursday was Christa Stream, who was acknowledged for her great knowledge of the community and the relationships she has built locally. Whitmire said Stream has worked hard to make the center successful and has developed many successful local partnerships. “She has been a key liaison to the community and she’s great with the student population, as well,” he said.  Whitmire also took the opportunity to announce that Stream was being promoted within MTC to Technical Trades Training Manager.
