Randall “Randy” Ray Van Fleet, 31, of Arapahoe, died in Casper August 9, 2019. Visitation will be in the family home, 1267-17 Mile Road, Arapahoe beginning 6pm and all night long, Wednesday, August 14, 2019. The Funeral Service will then begin at 10am, Thursday, August 15, 2019 in the family home also. Burial will be in California.
Randy was born on April 13, 1988 to Karen Rider (Ft. Belnap, MT) and Jody Van Fleet Sr (Las Angeles, CA) in Montebello, California. He was affiliated with the Fort Mojave Tribe in the Tri-State of CA, AZ, NV. His family moved to WY in 1992, where he resided for most of his life. In 2011 he moved to ND care for his older brother, Sonny’s children, Detrick and Atiana. While he was there he had 2 children of his own, Trevon and Kyson, creating a family of 6.
His hobbies always included family or friends and was always down for fun. He worked as a concrete laborer and enjoyed what he did. He loved to listen to music , socialize, and travel. He also enjoyed spoiling his children, nieces, nephews. He was very caring, gentle, down to earth, funny, and handsome, loving to make others laugh. His goal in life was to be happy and make others happy. This dearly departed angel will be incredibly missed.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sonny Van Fleet; grandmothers, Carol Willow, Nancy Standing; grandfathers, Aloysius Willow Sr, Aloysius Jr; aunts, Francis Rider, Theresa-Vann-Johnson; cousin, Titus Morrison.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Rider; sisters, Kandace Sitting Eagle, Trishanda Van Fleet; brothers, Jody Van Fleet Jr., Justin Van Fleet, Daniel Van Fleet; children, Detrick, Atiana, Treven, Kyson Van Fleet; grandmothers, Kathy Vann, Becky Bishop; uncles and cousins, Marion Rider, Houston Willow; nieces, Genesis, Xariana, Liliana; nephews, Sonny Jr., Phoenix, Titus; and numerous other relations.
