CWC is working closely with the Fremont County Public Health Officer, Dr. Brian Gee to support the safe transition to ease restrictions in the upcoming weeks while closely monitoring our community spread of COVID-19 and our local hospital capacity to treat those who are most ill.
That said, this transition is a slow and deliberate process, with social distancing protocols and data monitoring firmly in place. As Fremont County has seen some of the highest numbers of incidents in the state, this transition must take place carefully. We do not foresee that it would serve the guiding principle of public safety for us to host a public event in an enclosed facility as early as June 2020. Therefore, we are postponing all events scheduled in May and June until further notice. We are so very sorry for this inconvenience and the disappointment this will cause for you and your attendees, however, we feel it is important for us to make this decision for the greater health of our community and its citizens.
