(Riverton, WY) – School District clerk Jody Ray announced the Recreation Board Volunteer of the Year and Volunteer Group of the Year at Tuesday’s school board meeting.
Michelle Widmayer was awarded Volunteer of the Year for her work with Eagles Hope, a transitional home for transient community members.
Widmayer’s dedication in working with mental disorders and addictions is instrumental to the health of Riverton and the surrounding area, Ray said.
The Riverton Advisory Committee won Volunteer Group of the Year, partly for their work on the newly opened Boys and Girls club at Rendezvous Elementary school.
