Local community members have come together to design, develop and deploy a 22,000 sq. ft. modern healthcare facility that will enable local providers to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and provide outpatient surgical services right here at home. This major construction project at the former Fremont Motors location at the East edge of Lander will be the home for Western Wyoming Medical.

This state-of-the-art facility will provide the appropriate environment for patients and their providers; patients will realize huge cost savings as our prices are much less than our other facilities. Also, patients will no longer have to bear the cost of expensive travel arrangements or redundant testing due to segmented care between local care and transfers to other hospitals.

Western Wyoming Medical is being constructed in a manner to yield maximal efficiency and operational excellence. The management team, physicians, and business consultants bring nearly 100 years of operational experience in cardiovascular disease management, surgical procedures, and business efficiency. Our local employees will be trained by a team of experts in their field from tertiary medical centers around the country, each with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.

Western Wyoming Medical will utilize state-of-the-art equipment including a new fixed base Heart catheterization laboratory (Philips Azurion M15) with conventional as well as digital subtraction angiography, hemodynamic assessments such as IFR, FFR, and intravascular ultrasound. This latest line of advanced technological equipment by Philips will reduce radiation exposure to our providers and patients.

By establishing a center of cardiovascular excellence, Western Wyoming Medical enables area physicians to have a place to provide modern medical diagnostic and therapeutic care. The design allows for a seamless transition from the time of admission to discharge with enhanced pre-operative as well as post-operative monitoring and safe, compassionate patient care.
