Precipitation expected, high wind warning to stay in effect until 11 PM

(Fremont County) – According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, temperatures will begin to drop from the lower 50’s to upper and mid 40’s for much of Fremont County, with rain and snow adding to the mix throughout the day.

Expect rain and snow showers in the western part of the County, which will spread eastward in the evening, with the areas of Dubois and Lander looking like they’ll get the heaviest snowfall.

The high wind warning from yesterday will stay in effect until 11:00 PM this evening, with the windiest areas being Dubois, Jeffrey City, and parts of Lander.
