Power outages in some areas could be through Tuesday night

High Plains Power just shared an update that around 700 meters are still off as of 5:00 pm, September 8th. Trees in the powerlines and snow are reportedly the cause, as well as some damaged equipment.

While their crews are working to restore power to the remaining meters right now, they explained, “We could still have some services that will be off through the night. It becomes a safety issue for the line crews as it gets dark and they have already worked long hours. Please make the necessary preparations to protect yourself from the elements.”

High Plains Power has also encouraged folks without power Wednesday morning to call them. Click here for their contact info.
