    Potential Produce Vandal on the loose in Lander…

    (Lander, WY) – While unconfirmed if the following acts were in fact committed by the same person, there were multiple reports of vandalism in the Lander area over the weekend that each involved common grocery items, according to the Lander Police Department (LPD) media release.

    Around 8:00 AM Friday morning, LPD received reports of a “Cob of corn and a tomato” that were stuffed in an exhaust pipe of a vehicle on Amoretti Street.

    Later that afternoon, LPD also received reports of vandalism at the “free food box” on Washakie Street, with products found damaged in the general area.

    Saturday morning, around 7:45 AM, a car on Eugene Street was found with jelly smeared all over it. No reports of peanut butter at this time.

    About an hour later, ANOTHER vehicle on North 6th Street was found with jelly smeared all over it, this time accompanied by spaghetti and meatballs.

    At this time time there are no suspects, and any leads should be fielded to LPD.
