Pinnacle Bank Hosting Food Drive for Powell’s Backpack Program and Cody’s Food 4 Kids Program
Pinnacle Bank knows all about helping people with their money. The family owned bank has been around for four generations, but for Pinnacle Bank they are lending a hand in a vastly different way.
A child’s chance for a bright future starts with getting enough healthy food to eat. However, for many local children, school meals may be the only meals they eat. What happens when they go home over the weekend? The Powell Backpack Program and Cody’s Food 4 Kids are helping fill this void, by providing bags of food on Fridays, with enough food to feed them, and even family members, through the weekend. And Pinnacle Bank wants to help stock their pantry in preparation for the upcoming school year.
Now through August 18th, Pinnacle Banks in Powell and Cody are hosting food drives for these two organizations. You can find a list of needed items on Pinnacle Bank – Wyoming’s Facebook page (Cody Food 4 Kids list Powell Backpack Program list), by contacting Pinnacle Bank – Powell at 307-754-7955 or Pinnacle Bank – Cody at 307-527-7186, or you can also find a list of items here for Cody and here for Powell.
According to Doug Weedin, President and CEO of Pinnacle Bank- Wyoming, “We know education is the key to success and want all of our youth to have every opportunity to succeed. We encourage our community to join us in our efforts to help positively impact this extraordinary organization, which provides so many of our local children with a necessity and, in turn, greater opportunities for achievement.”
