Paws Pet of the Week – Meet Mr. Ed!

Mr. Ed and his four siblings came to us in April when the Police Dept seized them from a residence. He is 10 years and came in needing a dental badly. He was skin and bones and his coat was in a horrible condition. We started him on antibiotics and got him and his other siblings scheduled for dentals. He has been recovering and gaining weight.

He absolutely loves his canned food and people. He loves to be held and purrs contentedly all the while. His coat is so soft now, but he sheds as much as a dog. 🙂

He has no teeth so will need a diet of soft food for his remaining years. Some kitties can go back to hard food after a dental,  but he tends to swallow it whole, and then it makes him puke. So we have kept him on a soft food diet.

He would love for you to stop by and visit him and all his friends in Kitty City! And maybe he can convince you to take him home to love for the remainder of his years.

Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton’s lobby is now open and the schedule is Tuesday through Friday 12 to 5 pm, Saturday, 10 to 1 pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Stop by if you would like to meet Mr. Ed or any of our other adoptable animals, or call 857-6002 to schedule an appointment Tuesday through Saturday. You can also message their Facebook page to set an appointment up for a meet and greet.
