“Joy came to us with several other kitties when her owner had to move to a nursing home. She absolutely lives up to her name: she is lovely and affectionate. She is at the front of the kennel talking to you when you come to visit the kitties in the cat room. She loves her kibble and tries to sweet talk you into giving her more when she is out. She is on a diet because she is just a little pudgy 🙂
She is not a fan of being picked up: she says she is too old for that. If you are looking for a companion that doesn’t require a whole lot of care; just a nice warm place that will feed her and pet her: please, come meet Joy! She is about 10 years old and is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and de-wormed.
She is a sweet senior kitty that wants a home to spend the rest of her golden years out.”
Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton’s lobby is now open and the schedule is Tuesday through Friday 12 to 5 pm, Saturday, 10 to 1 pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
