Sweet, goofy, Kyah is a 1-year-old Pitbull mix. She came in as a stray that wasn’t reclaimed. She had no leash manners and played too rough with the other dogs and us, so when the chance came to send her to the Honor Farm for some training, we sent her. Her handlers noted how smart she is- she picked up her commands with ease. She has quite a curious mind which got her a little bit on her test at the end. She wanted to stop and smell things along the way. And, they mentioned that smile!
If you like to run or jog, she had a handler that ran with her as well. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and wormed. Stop by to meet her, and all the other dogs up for adoption, and maybe take her for a walk.
Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton’s lobby is now open and the schedule is Tuesday through Friday 12 to 5 pm, Saturday, 10 to 1 pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
