Over 4K in-person votes cast so far Tuesday

The Fremont County Elections Office has shared that all the vote centers have been busy so far today. As we shared earlier, the lines are big but moving quickly. As a reminder, you can vote and register at any of the 8 vote centers in Fremont County.

As of 12:00-ish pm, 4,157 in-person votes have been cast. That’s about 22.3% of registered voters so far. Combine that with the 44% who already voted either absentee or early and we are over half-way there.

The Elections Office is asking all folks utilizing the curbside voting due to quarantining to please provide the letter from the Department of Health. They are super busy and this process takes longer for the election judges, according to Fremont County Clerk Julie Freese. However, the elderly and disabled are still welcome to take part in the curbside voting.

Freese also asks that folks plan ahead if you need to update your voter registration or register to vote. This will take a little longer so give yourself a little extra time for that.

County 10 will keep you updated on the General Election throughout the day and into to this evening.
