The Fremont County Election Office mailed out a total of 7,424 general election absentee ballots since mid-September, according to an update from Fremont County Clerk Julie Freese.
Of those mailed out, 6,442 have been returned, as of October 27th. All absentee ballots need to be received by the Fremont County Election Office (FCEO) by 7:00 pm on November 3rd.
With the general election less than a week away, and Fremont County has 17,584 registered voters.
