“I came up with this vision to have our community grow together and become a unit and set differences aside to better our community and youth,” Whitener said. “I hope this shows our youth and county 10 community we are here for you and hope this helps others with showing a vision can become a reality. Helps others by showing them a vision can become a reality.”

Both Whitener and Konija shared a special thanks to the workers, volunteers, and sponsors/donors.

They were also able to donate $200 toward DJ Raven’s fundraiser for her sons’ wheelchair.

“Which was exactly what we are trying to do for the community,” Konija said.  “Providing a forum to come together which isn’t just about events and having a good time, but actually being a community that takes care of each other.”
