(Riverton, WY) – Elevation Women’s Healthcare, a.k.a. Abba’s House, hosted their very first Empty Bowl Fundraiser on Thursday, January 13th at the Fremont Center.
Attendees had 26 varieties of soups and chilis to choose from; all made, donated, and served by volunteers.
The Empty Bowl Fundraiser is typically hosted by Volunteers of America, but this year they reached out to see if we would be interested, shared Kimberly Hummel, Elevation Women’s Healthcare Board of Directors President.
“We were honored to take on this role,” she noted.
200 tickets were sold that evening adding to the sponsorships and silent auction, they raised a total of $13,749.
