    Lander Kiwanis Club helps raise funds for little leaguers

    (Lander, WY) – The Lander Kiwanis Club held a community breakfast in support of local youth baseball at the Ace Hardware parking lot Saturday morning, June 5th.

    Don’t let the empty tables and folded chairs fool you, this photo was taken near the end of the event, which had incredible turnout.

    According to Club President Jake Huhnke, the kiddos sold tickets for the breakfast, and the Kiwanis provided/made the food. There were more than 10 bags of pancakes made, and over 60 pounds of ham served, with an estimated $3,000 raised.

    The funds will go to the local baseball association and Lander little league, to purchase uniforms, equipment, and various gear.
