Opening of Lander ice rink still dependent on weather

(Lander, WY) – The City of Lander announced on Wednesday that the Parks and Recreation staff are currently waiting on colder temperatures before opening the ice rink this season.

“Think cold/snow,” the Facebook post goes on to state.

This announcement comes after the opening of the “Tonkinfellar Plaza” ice rink in Riverton was also delayed due to unseasonably warm weather.

Opening dates for both facilities will be released as soon as the ground freezes and temperatures drop.

County 10 will provide updates as soon as they are available!
