One person air lifted after dirt bike crash near Dubois Tuesday

    At 12:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Fremont County Sheriff’s officers responded to a dirt bike crash in a remote camping area west of Dubois.

    The incident, involving one man, was on Pelham Lake Road, which is roughly 18 miles west of downtown Dubois.

    Per scanner traffic, Guardian EMS landed a helicopter near the crash scene and air lifted the man.


    An injury update, nor the man’s age or identity have not yet been made available.

    Fremont County Undersheriff, Ryan Lee, said details are limited about the incident at this point,

    A man was injured while riding on a Forest Service Road.  He apparently crashed his dirt bike.  There was no official investigation, we assisted EMS with packaging him for transport which was completed by air ambulance.
