The driver of the 2006 Peterbilt has been identified as 44-year-old West Jordan, Utah resident Craig Hutcherson.  Hutcherson was wearing his seatbelt and did not sustain injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported with this crash.

Speeding too fast for the winter road conditions are being investigated on the part of Hutcherson as a contributing factor to the crash.  The road conditions were slick with ice and blowing snow.

This is the 29th fatality on Wyoming’s highways in 2019 compared to 15 in 2018, 19 in 2017, and 10 in 2016 to date.
