On September 7, 2019, historic warbirds will be on the ground and in the skies above Lander!

The Annual Wings & Wheels Fly-In, Air & Car Show starts this Saturday, September 7th from 8:00AM – 5PM in Lander, Wyoming. Wings & Wheels will feature thrilling aerobatic performances, classic cars, a Sinks Canyon Poker Run, and more!

This year’s pilot and FAA Certified Air Boss is Wayne Boggs. Wayne is known for his long, prolific career in aviation. “There’s no one in the national airshow community who doesn’t know his name and reputation,” explained Chris Eleanor Chase, Wings & Wheels Event Coordinator. “Not to mention, in his whole life he’s never visited Wyoming!”

John Bagely, of Legacy Flight Museum, will return with his P-51 Mustang, a hands-down 2018 fan favorite. Also returning is the crazy-famous pilot, Brad Wursten, out of Utah (see video below).

Central Bank and Trust is hosting a meet and greet with Brad on Friday, 3:30-4:30pm. Open to the public and there will be CAKE.

Following the meet and greet, attend the first-ever Wings & Wheel Banquet to thank the sponsors and EAA guys who helped start this event many years ago!
