Oilfield Ironmen raise money for Fremont County Suicide Awareness Taskforce

The Oilfield Ironmen Freedom Riders Chapter organized a poker run on June 1st, 2019 to raise money for the Fremont County Suicide Prevention Taskforce.

Last night a check for $2,400 from the Oilfield Ironmen poker run was presented to the Fremont County Suicide Prevention Taskforce Treasurer Lori Mohler.

Fremont County Prevention Program CPS Tauna Groomsmith shares, “The Suicide Awareness Poker Run on June 1st and this momentous occasion are evidence of a thoughtful and important collaboration! I am thrilled that Oilfield Ironmen Club is engaging the community in suicide awareness and making connections with the Fremont County Suicide Prevention Taskforce. Awareness events build community capacity for suicide prevention. Events like these encourage connectedness and promote healing, and provide learning opportunities for entire communities – not just those who are survivors of suicide and attempt survivors.”
