Northern Wyoming wildfire now over 25,000 acres

    The Waddle Creek Fire in Sheridan County near the Wyoming/Montana state line grew from early estimates of 500-700 acres to over 25,000 acres today, according to the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center.

    The fire was discovered last night, August 17th, around 5:00 pm. The cause of the fire remains unknown as of this evening.

    County 10 will share updates on the Waddle Creek Fire as information is released.
