    No injuries reported in car versus cyclist crash in Lander Monday evening

    Lander Police responded to pedestrian versus vehicle crash Monday at 6:20 p.m. near the Mr D’s grocery store parking lot, at 725 Main Street.

    The pedestrian was a 10-year-old boy on a bicycle.

    Lander Police Department Information Officer Duane Kaiser confirmed there were no injuries and explained the situation,

    10-year-old male [was] traveling westbound on Main in front of Mr D’s on the sidewalk. Cyclist was not knocked to the ground and mother refused medical transport. Vehicle was leaving Mr D’s center entry/exit onto Main turning eastbound. Vehicle located an driver claims to have never seen the child on the bike.”

    According to Monday’s Lander Police call log, a 29-year-old female driver of the vehicle involved was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and driving under suspension.
