    No COVID cases reported at Honor Farm in latest DOC update

    The Wyoming Department of Corrections released their latest confirmed positive COVID case numbers today, December 15th.

    The latest numbers show that only one DOC facility, Wyoming State Penitentiary, has active COVID cases. The Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton has had a steady decrease in reported cases since November.

    • Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) Torrington – Positive Covid Cases: 0
    • Wyoming Honor Farm (WHF) Riverton – Positive Covid Cases: 0
    • Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) Newcastle – Positive Covid Cases:0
    • Wyoming Women’s Center (WWC) Lusk – Positive Covid Cases: 0
    • Wyoming State Penitentiary (WSP) Rawlins – Positive Covid Cases: 8 (Staff 2, Inmates 6)

    Working with the Wyoming Department of Health, all active inmate cases are medically monitored and managed by the Department and the DOC healthcare provider (Corizon Health, Inc.) in accordance with CDC guidelines.

    The Department continues conducting rigorous surveillance testing at all sites as necessary and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
