(Riverton, WY) – It’s the time of year for those icy cold jumps to raise funds for Special Olympics Wyoming – better known as the Jackalope Jump.
Due to COVID protocols and with the safety of the athletes in mind, the Riverton Special Olympics has decided not to participate in this freezing cold dip this year.
There are a few Special Olympic locations in Wyoming that will be participating, according to the 2021 Jackalope Jump fundraiser page, including Lander in March.
County 10 has reached out to the Lander organizer to get a few more details on their plan, and we will share those when they are available.
In the meantime, you can stay up-to-date by visiting the Special Olympics Wyoming – Riverton Facebook page.
