    Newman J. LeBeaux

    Fort Washakie – Newman J. LeBeaux, 79, passed away January 11, 2018 at the Evanston Regional Hospital after a short illness. He has been a resident of Evanston for the past few years and a life long resident of Fort Washakie.
    He was born February 14, 1939 in Fort Washakie, WY, the son of Theodore LeBeaux and Marie Padia LeBeaux. He was a veteran having served in the US Army for four years.

    Newman was a member of the Catholic Church and served as an alter boy in Fort Washakie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ranching, riding horses and crafting leather. He was also a Sundancer.
    Survivors include his daughter Vanessa Roberts of Grand Junction, CO; grandchildren Robert, Angela, Jasmine, and Corrina; great-grandchildren Heaven, Ariah, Robbie, Mitchell, Jasmine and Mia; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Marie LeBeaux, brother Earl P. LeBeaux, sisters Irene LeBeaux and Juanita Mary Fienhold, maternal grandmother Mary Meyers, other grandparents, grandson William, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews,.

    He was always happy to hear from his family and loved them all. He will always be in our loving memories.

    A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the residence of Jola LeBeau, 208 Ethete Rd., Ft. Washakie. A Feast then burial will follow in the Aragon Family Cemetery, Kinnear, WY.
