New Riverton Police Department (RPD) officers were sworn in last night, February 18th, by Riverton Mayor Richard Gard at the Riverton City Council meeting.
The three officers include Ruby Ziegler, Logan Alley, and Shyenne Deavor. Both Ruby and Logan worked at the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton prior to joining RPD.
Two new dispatchers have also joined the RPD team, Valerie Hinkle and Sarah Romero. They were also present at the swearing-in last night. Not present was Brett Johnson who is the new Victim Witness Law Enforcement Liaison.
RPD also shared an internal promotion of Officer Jim Donahue to the rank of Detective.
