    New Community Leaders Selected to Serve on SageWest Health Care Board of Trustees

    SageWest Health Care announced that Ben Francisco, MD; Chris Frazier, OD; and Lee Tendore recently joined the SageWest Board of Trustees.

    “We are so excited to welcome Ben, Chris, and Lee to our Board and especially appreciate their diverse expertise,” said John Ferrelli, chief executive officer of SageWest Health Care. “They join SageWest at an exciting time as we continue to expand services to advancing our mission of Making Communities Healthier. We look forward to the value their leadership will bring to our SageWest Board.”

    Francisco is an orthopedic surgeon at Fremont Orthopaedics. He is an active member of his church and has been an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Francisco completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at The Hand Center of San Antonio and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine in San Antonio.

    Frazier is an optometrist at Riverton Vision Center. He is an active Lions Club member, currently serving on the sight conservation committee, and has previously held numerous office positions. Dr. Frazier completed clinical rotations at the Portland VA Hospital, Malmstrom Air Force Base, and I.H.S. Indian Health Center. He graduated with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR.

    Tendore is the Eastern Shoshone Tribal Liaison for the State of Wyoming Office of Governor Gordon and is a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He currently serves on the Missing Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Governor’s Taskforce, Chief Washakie Endowment Scholarship Committee, and the Wyoming 2020 Census Team. Tendore earned his bachelor of arts degree in Native and Indigenous Studies from the University of Wyoming.

    SageWest’s other trustee members consist of Mike Bailey, Bailey Enterprises Owner; John Ferrelli, SageWest CEO; Cy Lee, Northern Arapaho Tribal Liaison for the State of Wyoming Office of Governor Gordon; Dr. Mel Meyer, Emergency Medicine and SageWest Chief of Staff; Sandra Podley, LifePoint Health Western Division President and Kathy Wells, Central Wyoming College Vice President for Academic Affairs.
