BIG WIND Breakaway was founded by Jessie Whitlock and Briana Sorensen who recognized the limited local options for practicing and competing.

Both are new moms who love roping and want their littles to rope as well. Their hope is to continue to grow the series and maybe even become a qualifier for national events.

This first summer is a smaller series with 6 nights – June 8, June 22, July 6, July 20, Aug 3, Aug 17 – then finals on August 31.

Those wishing to participate in the finals must attend 3 of the series events to qualify.
