    National Weather Service says another round of snow on the way this weekend [Videos]

    The National Weather Service office in Riverton is advising that most of Fremont County will experience a shot of cold and snow this weekend. Fremont County will primarily be impacted late Friday and throughout the day Saturday.

    NWS issued a Special Weather Statement for Wyoming on Thursday morning, they have also updated a couple of videos with more details below.

    Snow will spread across the area Friday. Snow will start over Yellowstone, the Absarokas and Bighorns midday Friday, with light snow over northern portions of the Bighorn Basin by the afternoon. A rain/snow mix is expected during the afternoon across eastern portions of the Basin. This will change over to snow by Friday evening, as snow becomes more widespread across the Wind River Basin and Natrona County. 2 to 4 inches is expected for most of this area, before gradually ending by midday Saturday. 4 to 6 inches is expected in the mountains, with 6 to 9 inches possible in the Bighorns.
