National Weather Service lists winter storm advisory for part of county; High wind watches in place too

    The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for part of Fremont County through Monday evening.

    Heavy snow is already impacting travel over South Pass as the road has been closed to traffic, and is expected to be until Monday evening according to WYDOT.

    Togwotee Pass is also listed as slick to snowfall as of Monday morning.


    A winter storm will move into western Wyoming by late tonight with moderate to heavy snowfall and strong to high winds also expected in southern and into central Wyoming on Monday.
