A felony murder occurs when there is “intent to commit the underlying felony (the “predicate felony”), and that “someone died as a result of the felony.”

The investigation has been ongoing since January of 2019, after the bodies of Watt and Perez were discovered inside of a house in the 1100 block of East Main Street in Riverton, with community assistance being sought as recently as January of 2021.

Court dates have yet to be released for the charged parties, but County 10 will continue to provide coverage of the cases as it becomes available.
