    More dry elevated fire weather today; wildfire smoke expected to stick around this week

    (Fremont County, WY) – According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, high pressure with hot, dry weather is expected today through Wednesday, with elevated fire weather concerns.

    Smoke from wildfires in Idaho and Oregon continues to impact our skies.

    High temperatures will be in the lower to mid 90’s for most of the County today, with Dubois at 84 degrees.

    Lows tonight will be in the lower to upper 50’s, with Lander a bit warmer at 61 degrees.

    A cold front moves in on Thursday, with showers in the north and gusty winds, and much cooler temperatures for Friday.
