(Fremont County, WY) – According to the National Weather Service and the Fremont County Wyoming Emergency Management Agency, there will be increased chances of thunderstorms in Fremont County this week. This is due to monsoonal moisture overspreading in the region.
As deep moisture begins to push into Western Wyoming on Tuesday, which will overspread to the rest of the area on Wednesday and Thursday.
This will cause abundant moisture to remain in place over the weekend, resulting in increased chances of thunderstorms.
The main hazard will be locally heavy rainfall, with the possibility of flash flooding. This could start as early as Wednesday, and remain a possibility through the end of the week.
