Mississippi man sought in wife’s death spotted in Wyoming

In a release from the Associated Press, Federal authorities say a Mississippi man sought in the killing of his wife has been seen recently in southern Wyoming and northern Utah.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 61-year-old Charles Eugene Bowman was seen June 30 at a gas station in Evanston, Wyoming, and Friday while camping six miles west of Vernal, Utah.

The Marshals Service says Bowman was seen driving a white 2006 Nissan Maxima with a handicap Mississippi license plate, D2745.

The agency says Bowman is believed to be armed and dangerous. He is described as 5-foot-8, 200 pounds with hazel eyes and gray hair.

Bowman disappeared June 27 before Pearl River County sheriff’s deputies obtained a search warrant for his home and then found the remains of 61-year-ld Kathleen Bowman. She’d last been seen in May.
