    Men Who Cook event raised enough to sponsor an estimated 383 Fremont County kiddos

    It was a hopping evening on Saturday, February 15th, at the Men Who Cook event in Riverton. This annual fundraiser raises money to provide Fremont County children ages birth to 5 with a free book once a month through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

    A reported 14 stations and 17 chefs provided delicious food for over 200 patrons, shared organizer Courtney Hill. They also had 5 VIP Tables and 5 Sponsorship Tables this year.

    17 Committee members, 5 Room to Dance girls, 13 Riverton High School Swimmers, and 4 Riverton High School FFA Members helped throughout the night, Courtney continued, Wind River Realty also helped set up, run silent auctions and made the event successful.

    “We estimate that we made enough to sponsor 383 kids in Fremont County to Receive a Book each month for the 2020 year,” Courtney shared. “We are on target and earned approximately the same as the year before.”
