Tom will bring the following core values to the Fremont County Treasurer’s Office: fiscal responsibility, transparency, accountability, and leadership with ethics and integrity.
Tom has a number of campaign positions that he believes will help him in the Fremont County Treasurer’s office:
- Tom has not accepted any monetary donations during his campaign. Tom Majdic is dedicated to working for all citizens of Fremont County, not just the ones that donate to his campaign.
- Tom has an accounting degree and has passed the CPA Exam. By passing the CPA exam, Tom has demonstrated that he is professionally competent in accounting, business law, taxation and auditing, all key components of a qualified candidate for the Fremont County Treasurer position.
- Tom will strive to improve the customer experience with the Fremont County Treasurer’s Office. Tom believes that it is important to rebuild community trust with the Treasurer’s Office.
- Tom is committed to reopening the Riverton Satellite office. A large population base had local services taken away from them causing a major inconvenience. Tom has already spoken with the Fremont County Clerk, who provided the funding for the Riverton office to be open, and the County Clerk is willing to provide the funding for the office to reopen. Tom will work diligently to bring those services back to Riverton.
