    Maven Headquarters celebrated official groundbreaking today

    (Lander, WY) – Maven, a local optics and outdoor equipment company, celebrated the official groundbreaking for its world headquarters today, February 16th.

    Those in attendance braved the cold and snow to celebrate the groundbreaking at 1042 Pronghorn drive, across from the Central Wyoming (CWC) Lander campus.

    Maven was founded in 2013 by Brendon Weaver, Mike Lilygren, and Cade Maestas, and the Headquarters Building is the first large economic development project for LEDA and the City of Lander.

    “It’s taken a lot to get to this point. We’re just excited to get shovels in the ground and get this project started,” co-founder Cade Maestas told County 10.

    “This is a great opportunity for the City of Lander and the Business Council to move forward with economic development,” Lander Mayor Monte Richardson also added.

    Maestas stated that currently there are 15 employees at Maven, but future expansion is projected to potentially create 23 additional jobs by the year 2027.

    The Maven Headquarters will include approximately 6,000 sq/ft of office and administration space and over 16,000 sq/ft of warehouse and production space.
