(Lander, WY) – Below is the news report from the Fremont County Commissioners’ Office for their March 1st meeting.
A grant award agreement between the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Fremont County was approved for the federal award amount of $5,419.61 for the purchase of P-25 compliant mobile and portable radios and allowable accessories for the Emergency Management Agency.
The board ratified a letter of support to the USDA Rural Development Agency for the joint county effort being spearheaded by local citizens in conjunction with Central Wyoming College to conduct a comprehensive tourism feasibility study for Fremont and Hot Springs Counties.
Resolution No. 2022-06 was approved “Appointment of Special Prosecutor” through an agreement with the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.
A 24-hour malt beverage permit was approved for the 1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous for June 29, 2022 through July 3, 2022 and for the Rocky Mountain National Rendezvous for July 10, 2022 through July 16, 2022.
The Wyoming Health Fairs 2022 Wellness Contract for Fremont County employees was approved.
Resolution No. 2022-07 “FY 2021-2022 BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 5” was approved for unanticipated revenues and budget transfers within Fremont County’s FY 2021-2022 budget.
The Commission approved the voting members of the local Emergency Planning Committee.
The following documents were approved for the Country Acres Road Reconstruction Project: 1. Agreement between owner and contractor Avail Valley Construction-WY LLC; 2. Notice to proceed beginning March 14, 2022; And 3. Amendment No. 2 to agreement between Fremont County and Dowl, LLC for increased professional services in the amount of $121,518.00.
