Several representatives from Fremont County and the Wind River Indian Reservation will be on hand for the University of Wyoming’s Keepers of the Fire March for Justice Friday, April 26th.
The march and event will spotlight missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
Events begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning in front of the UW Student Union.
Riverton High School senior Jazmine Wildcat will be the first speaker at the event. Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone representative and counselor Avis Garcia, State Senator Affie Ellis, and Director of the “Not Our Native Daughters” campaign Lynette Grey Bull are just some of the many speakers featured.
