Lynn L. Fryer, 68, of Hiawatha, KS (formerly of Falls City,NE), died of congestive heart failure at home in care of Freedom Hospice with family at his side. Lynn met Jesus in Heaven at 1PM on May 1, 2019.
He was born in Falls City, Nebraska on October 27, 1950 to Mary Katherine Rhoads Fryer and Eldon Lloyd Aylesworth Fryer.
Lynn joined the U.S. Navy after high school; he was a Navy Corpsman and proud Veteran. Lynn was a caregiver in varying forms all of his life; as a Profession, for his family, and for anyone he could lend a hand to. Lynn was a hard-worker and a loving provider for his family.
Lynn had a great sense of humor and a positive attitude in the face of many diversities in his life. He was an avid birder, with a gift for identifying birds by their calls. Lynn had a green thumb. He enjoyed cooking, baking, macrame, canning and other crafts. Lynn was a wrestler, football player and track and field star while in high school. Lynn was one of 11 children and loved his siblings and family dearly.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Nathaniel Lynn Fryer; sisters, Elaine Hutson, Mary Langley, Thelma Douglas, Jeanine Strecker and in infancy Rebbecca Fryer; and brothers, Keith Fryer and Jerry Fryer.
Lynn was survived by his former spouses Victoria Fryer and Sheila McGinnis; children Jenevra (Barry) Bertin, Niles Fryer, Rebbecca Fryer, and Jeremy Fryer; grandchildren, Zachariah, Zola, Fatima, Cosette, Brielle, Triles, Neveah, Maleki, WIllow, Viper Lynn, Aiden, and David; sisters, Nancy Rowland, Carol (Tom) Voyles, and Marcia (Randy) Blanton; along with scores of nieces and nephews and their families.
Lynn desired no funeral or memorial service, but to be cremated and remembered with love. At a later date his family will spread his ashes at the Upper Falls of Sinks Canyon outside Lander, Wyoming.
