As most of you are aware the Lander Valley High School Football Stadium is undergoing a large facelift.  Part of this facelift is replacing the grass field with a synthetic turf field. In an effort to show our appreciation to the community’s support of this renovation, we would like to offer to the community an opportunity to harvest some of the natural grass that will be replaced.

The stadium area will be made available to the public starting Saturday morning, May 4, 2019 at 8:00 am and then again on Sunday, May 5, 2019 for the public to harvest the natural grass.  Access to the stadium area will be the open gate at the main entrance of Bill Bush Stadium. The only stipulation will be that no heavy equipment (i.e. backhoes, skidsteers), or personal vehicles will be allowed inside the gates.  Utility vehicles, and other small equipment of that nature will be allowed. You will need to access the grass field using the provided ingress/egress access ramp that has been provided at the southeast corner of the track.  This is being offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, with no promise or guarantee on the quality of the grass, from Fremont County School District #1.

All individuals participating in this activity will operate with the understanding that they will release, indemnify and hold harmless Fremont County School District #1, its current and former trustees, board members, officers, employees, agents, attorneys, and officers in the event of any claims, complaints, lawsuits, losses, damages and judgments of any kind which arise out of their participation in this activity.
