(Lander, WY) – The class of 2021 from Lander Valley High School and Pathfinder High School will be celebrated with special events on Sunday, May 16th.

Starting at 6:30 pm, a neon-themed parade of grads will line up at Gambles on Main Street. The route this year will head to the LVHS parking lot starting at 7 pm.

Grads and their families are invited to a tailgater BBQ and gift distribution immediately following the parade.

Finally, fireworks will light up the Lander sky around 8:30 – 9 pm.

These events were organized by community volunteers for Project Graduation. They have worked hard to make sure the class of 2021 has a fun celebration again this year as some of the traditions are still on hold due to COVID.

“Our community is so kind and generous,” shared Danielle Hakse, a Project Graduation chairperson. “We are extremely grateful for all the help we have received!”

In addition to the May 16th celebration, Project Graduation hung senior banners down Main Street on May 5th and will remain until after graduation on May 23rd.
