(Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department has released a few details about the law enforcement activity in the area of Jefferson and N 1st Streets this afternoon. Below is the information they have released at this time.
“On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at approximately 3:25 PM, Lander Police Officers were dispatched to the area of the 100 block of Jefferson Street for a shots fired call.
“Officers arrived on scene and located one shooting victim. The victim was transported for medical treatment.
“Sections of the 100 block of Jefferson Street are closed off. There is no threat to the public at this time as a suspect is in custody.
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Lander Police Department at 307-332-3401. Further information will be released at a later time.”
