Lori at Mr. D’s will brighten your day with a beautiful Valentine’s bouquet

Lori Keith, a 7-year veteran when it comes to flowers, is a highlight in Mr. D’s world.  Lori is a formally trained florist and maybe the only one in Lander. “I enjoy making arrangements and working with flowers. The opportunity came up to work as a floral designer and I jumped at the chance. After a year of working at a shop, I went to Denver to floral design school.” This is the degree of excellence you get when you purchase a floral arrangement from Mr. D’s Food Centers.

A Lander native, having lived here since she was 7, Lori is involved with Girl Scouts, 4H, & the Fremont County Fair. She loves to sew and garden. Between working at Mr. D’s since 2018 and spending quality time with her husband, 4 kids, and 7 grandkids, Lori is a busy woman! A busy woman who loves working with flowers and brightening people’s day!

Flowers are synonymous with February 14th. From red roses to teddy bears and boxes of chocolates to dipped berries, gift options and bouquets of Valentine flowers are sure to bring a smile to the special person in your life. Long-stemmed roses are the classic choice for Valentine’s Day flowers and will always evoke oohs and ahs, but you really can’t go wrong with any flower. Other popular types of Valentine’s Day flowers include tulips, lilies, orchids, violets, daisies, daffodils, azaleas and more.

Lori elaborated on her favorite flower, “Alstromeria lilies are one of my favorites: they come in many colors, are long-lasting, and beautiful.”

Mr. D’s will have free delivery on Thursday, February 13th. They will also offer bundles with dinner, wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, and roses. Call the store at (307) 332-2964 for more information and to pre-order a Valentine bundle.
