October 2020 has two full moons, the first one happened…well, on the 1st, and the second is tonight, October 31st. You could say, full moons are the bookends to October 2020 – or something a little more philosophical.
The second full moon in one month is called a Blue Moon, and as most know, it’s not actually blue. However, making it extra special a “bright red Mars” will appear near the moon tonight, according to EarthSky.org.
